Sigma Kappa keeps its social calendar full of exchanges, which are social events hosted with other fraternities and sororities. Each has a different theme and it's always a blast getting ready together!

Sigma Kappa puts on one formal dance a quarter.  Presents, our Fall formal, is special because it is when we present our new pledge class and nominate the Sigma Kappa Heartthrob of the Year.  Each formal is hosted at an off campus venue and transportation is provided for the girls and their guests.  It's one of the most anticipated events of the quarter!

We compete against other sororities in various sports throughout the year including basketball, softball, volleyball, soccer, swimming and more.  It's a great way to bond with our sisters and engage in some lively competition against other chapters!

In addition to our five philanthropies detailed on the Philanthropy portion of our website, Sigma Kappas are always keen to give back to the community, through participation in the Breast Cancer walk, Relay for Life,  visits to retirement homes, beach cleanups and more.

We maintain very close ties with our alumni network and get together for Founder's Day banquet in November and various other events such as Christmas parties and tea parties.  Our alumni are a constant source of support for us and always come out strong to our chapter's philanthropy, Dancing with the Greeks.  Once a Sigma Kappa, always a Sigma Kappa!
